Next Episode: Becoming David: The Journey of a King (Part 2)
Manhood, fatherhood, leadership, and marriage are no easy tasks, to say the least.
Take King David, for example. Though he was held as an anointed King, a mighty warrior, and a man after God's own heart, he was still simply a man, with his own set of trials, struggles, hang-ups, and heartbreaks. For David, going from the lonesome son tending the flocks, to an anointed King of Israel, was! A! JOURNEY!, a journey which included even overcoming HIMSELF. Take comfort in knowing that although the journey from boy to man, from sonship to fatherhood, isn't always an easy one, God will still be right there, ever present, like a loving Father to prodigal sons, ready to teach, guide, forgive, and welcome you home.
