Setting personal boundaries is hard enough  - as in, learning how to say No, when in the past you've always said Yes, or being brave enough to disagree when you all along you've always agreed with people to 'keep the peace'.

Enforcing personal boundaries is even more challenging. The key is to get comfortable feeling uncomfortable - especially when you can sense people aren't pleased with your decision. Often times, when we're afflicted with the 'disease to please', we'll give in and go back on what we said we'd do just to avoid conflict.

Join me in this week's episode of Essentially Women where I discuss the particular discomfort of setting and enforcing personal boundaries.
