Hi Everyone,

It's Gillian here from https://DailyKetoMeals.com.

Today, you’ll learn about fat on the keto diet.

I’ve seen this question pop up a lot online, “Can you eat too much fat on the Ketogenic diet?”

There are two big reasons people ask this:

1) For the last few decades we’ve eaten carb-heavy diets.

Carbs have played a major role in the American and Canadian diets. And you can see why. You and I know it’s pretty easy to eat a big bag of chips or popcorn in one sitting, right?

That’s because these foods have been scientifically engineered to trick your brain into thinking you’re not full. And don’t even get me started on sodas!

2) The media has lied to us about fat.

They say things like, “Fat is the enemy”, “Fat leads to more heart attacks.”

It’s simply not true!

When you marry these two myths, it’s easy to see why people are afraid of fat.

Luckily, fat is good for you.

So here’s what to do:

Eat more fats.

Bacon, eggs, avocado, butter… they’re all great.

You’ll feel more full and satisfied.

The whole ketogenic way is based around a high fat, low carb diet. And with millions of success stories around the world, it’s easy to see why it’s a win-win strategy.

Dr. Ken Berry, a Keto expert, gives a great example in one of his videos.

He says you could probably eat an entire bag of Doritos in one sitting… but a pack of bacon?

Nope.

When you eat fat, it triggers a hormone in your body that says you’re full.

That’s the beauty of fat.
