It’s not uncommon to have a complicated relationship with food and your body.  Many people do. 

Sometimes this begins with body criticism and judgment, which then leads to unhealthy choices around food and exercise in an effort to improve their body. 

I spent YEARS struggling with my relationship with food and my body.

I always had a strong desire to lose weight and a belief that life would be so much better if I could reach my “ideal weight”.

In all honesty, I had never really been overweight, but I think I always had a distorted view of how my body looked compared to how I believed it should look.

Looking back now, I can see how my mindset was completely off and my lack of confidence only got worse with each diet failure.

If you can relate at all to struggling with your relationship with food or your body, please know it is not your fault. Also, please know that it doesn’t have to be this way and it all begins with changing your mindset.
