Did the saints ever have to discipline their children, and more importantly, did they write about it? Well, St. John Bosco did. He ran schools and homes for the street children of Italy and developed a preventive system of discipline, one based on love and guidance rather than fear and punishment. The approach that St. John Bosco develop over 100 years ago is similar to many of the best practices put forward by child psychologists today, and I want to share it with you!
