Bulimia eating disorder involves binging and purging. Binge eating means eating an excessive amount of food within a two-hour period. Purging is a compensation for that binge. If you are struggling with bulimia or you know someone who is, you’ll find this video very helpful!

Bulimia nervosa is one of the most common eating disorders specifically for young women. When it gets a hold of you, oftentimes if goes into your whole adult life even if you are not actively binging and purging.

You get a feeling you want to binge, you lose control, say "oh forget it" and you proceed to compensate. Every time you do that, it affects your health in bad ways!

How many times have you done this?

To beat bulimia, you need to practice control. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬. 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡.

You need to dig deep and ask yourself why did you binge in the first place. What made you do that? What was that feeling? Put that feeling in the middle of the map and find out why that triggered you so much.

The choice opportunity that helped me is about how to practice control. Real control is about stopping your binge in the middle of it. Gain control without going to the opposite disordered type thinking such as orthorexia and anorexia.
