Do you find that you have a hard time sticking up for yourself? Do you find yourself in the same struggles over and over again? Maybe it’s happening at work with a co-worker or someone in your personal life that really challenges you. As hard as it may seem, we need to face these challenges head on in order to strengthen our relationships. But what if some of these challenges were deeper than we even realize? Oftentimes when we tackle the obstacles in our lives, it brings awareness to deeper rooted, internal issues.

This week, I am sharing how to heal your inner child. Whenever we have moments of feeling out of control or find common themes and patterns in our daily lives, it’s important to look beneath the surface. Many of the struggles we face in our relationships resort back to a time where we were made to feel small. Traumatic experiences throughout our childhood can be fundamental to how we deal with trauma as adults.

In this episode, I share a personal experience I had with my therapist a few years ago and how I was able to heal my inner child. Healing your inner child is something that I talk about in my book, Unbinding Love, as it’s imperative to our healing and self-love journey. When we embark on healing our past, we find that behind our greatest challenges, God shows us even greater blessings.

Topics Discussed:

Learning to work through our struggles  Recognizing triggers that aren’t healed or identified  Finding the “why” behind our challenges The Power of Therapy and Meditation  Reminding our younger selves that we now have the tools to heal
