Marissa Diedrick is a teacher for the visually impaired. She shares with Kylie how, after pursuing a career as a classroom teacher, she decided she wanted to specialize in her current career field, and explains how she made the move to pursue it. Her passion for her work shows, and she tells us where it stems from– personally– and why her main focus is instilling confidence and independence in her students. Marissa also shares what she does on a daily basis with her work, and her opinions on why people need to give physically disabled individuals the freedom to live independently, because they are more than capable of doing so.
