Dan Laverde is a Communications and Media Relations assistant for the New York Yankees. He tells the story of the winding path that led him to this exciting position, and how even when he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do, sticking to what he enjoyed helped him to land in the right places. Dan also shares with Kylie the vital importance that networking has had in his career; acting on opportunities when you least expect to find them; what the bravery to “open the door” for yourself can bring; the recognition of the people who helped you get to where you are, and the necessity to pay it forward; and the most important question of all… After growing up a Mets fan, where does he stand now?
