Today on the podcast, my good friend (since my Buenos Aires days), Karina Martinez-Carter joins us. Karina shares her favorite practice that helps her slow down throughout the day and highlights why "slow" has a negative connotation. Karina and I share our curiosities around deep listening-- what it is and why we want to practice it in our lives. Deep listening offers us an opportunity to step out of autopilot and the conditioning of "doing." Karina shares how deep listening offers her a chance to "play" and let go of there needing to be a "right" decision or choice. Karina and I also share the difference between Vedic meditation and Mindfulness Based Meditation (or Insight Meditation). Take a listen to this thought provoking and heart opening episode.
