Anybody else in their first few years of nursing saying"WTF is this really what I signed up for?" or maybe you are a seasoned nurse with similar feelings, todays episode was inspired by an IG live I did and the request people made to share it here on the podcast so HERE WE ARE.

Your personal and professional lives are meant to live in sync. It was the feeling of sheer dread, exhaustion, lack of fulfillment, tears rolling down my cheeks and zip recruiter being my top used app that were my red flags.

I went in to new grad life saying 'oh I refuse to be the nurse who goes through burnout' now here I am connecting the pieces only to realize I was the nurse who was stuck in the cycle of burnout.

Today we talk about the cycle of burnout: burnout, break down, bounce back and how it pertains to my experience but also how it might be unfolding in YOUR career.

I thought that what I was feeling was 'normal' for a nurse in the middle of a pandemic. I share with you 7 things I did to career transition that I hope will also inspire YOU to take radical responsibility for your career.
