Today we are talking to ECU’s very own Kate Freed! Kate is the Fitness Graduate assistant here at Campus Recreation & Wellness. You can find Kate helping with group fitness events, teaching classes, and getting our students certified to become group fitness instructors and personal trainers! Tune in to learn about how Kate has fully optimized her time as a student through undergrad and now grad school to get where she is today.
Kate is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer. Fitness has been a passion of hers for a long time now, and she loves the motivating and supportive atmosphere of the fitness community. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication while in undergrad at Clemson University, and is now here at ECU earring her Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health and Health Behavior.
