On episode 6 of Zen & Waffles, Candice Cinquino joins Melanie as they discuss the practice of yoga and mindfulness. Candice starts out by debunking the myth of yoga giving you control, and goes on to explain how instead, it gives you the tools and skills to navigate emotion and have compassion for them. They also chat about how to know if you're "doing it right" (yoga), and what you're supposed to feel and think during a yoga practice.

Candice goes on to talk about benefits of breathe work and meditation, and even leads us through some breathe work techniques. Finally, the two of them talk about being in flow and becoming the compassionate witness of who you are, in order to become who you want to be.

Candice is one of the most amazing people - she is not only an amazing yoga instructor in Buffalo, but she also has a passion for leading conversations that push people out of their comfort zone as a way to create the conditions for real growth.
