There are scams, there are bloated beaurocracies. There are also real opportunities to do good and make a difference. First, we must get out of our little bubbles. We tend to focus inward, making excuses that we don’t have “extra” to give away. In war and in depression, people give anyway. Why can’t that be our normal state? We are built to think globally and we all do better when we serve.
