Kellan describes in detail if what we consider traditions are that, or are they chains. For example, people may say... "well, I've always been this way," or, "I've always done it this way." Why would we give ourselves these labels, and in turn, chains that we build? Good question.

We somehow assign these things as permanent fixtures, when all they are is habits that we've institutionalized. Now, there's a high likelihood that we've institutionalized them because we believe them. Sometimes we don't want to change them, because the trouble, time, effort to change can be, and often is hard.

Kellan, coming out of a childhood spent in fear with physical abuse, created chains, that he was finally to break free from. Chains like feelings of unworthiness, low self-esteem, and always feeling that he wasn't good enough. This shaped his life for many years, culminating in several suicide attempts.

There's one book that Kellan highly recommends and that is The Upper Limit, by Gay Hendricks. He postulates that the only kind of problem that you have is an upper limit problem. Eliminate this and there's nothing that you can't do, create or be capable of.

So, my invitation for you today is to do the following: pick one thing that you want to work on right now. Let it be something small; don't pick the biggest or most difficult thing to work on. Identify the tradition or chain that's holding you down. Pick the smallest step you can do to go against it to change it, if slightly. Execute that step so that you have the story of victory in yhour heart and head.

So, today, your assignment is to pick a small one and get a victory to help you build your ultimate life.

Thank you for listening. As always, we hope that you take this deeply into your heart and decide for yourself how you can create anything you desire.
