Is Service Selfish - #543

In this episode, Kellan talks about the characteristics needed to get things done, which means serving with our divine gifts. He's talked over a number of episodes about pillars, going through pillars we built which were integrity, language, honesty, truth, etc... and now we have the seventh pillar - service. 

Putting that into context with all of us creating and living our ultimate life - do you enjoy the life that you created for yourself? Do you love what you have in front of you to do?

Service is foundational and is in the premise of Your Ultimate Life.

The question for today (and the name of the episode), however, is - Is Service Selfish? Is what you're doing help someone accomplish their goals, alleviate struggles or empower people to remove them? Yes or no? Some would say, "well, you're just doing good stuff so that someone will praise and recognize your good deeds, not done in "real" service." Only you can answer that question.

Kellan's perspective is that we're here for a reason, and whether we engage regularly in our homes, neighborhood, networking events, zoom calls...we know that underneath that our soul expands when we lovingly and in a kind way, give service. That's how we're built.

Let me leave you with this, if you want to grow as a person and develop yourself to the fullest extent, then service is a part of the menu. Service is something that you need to engage in freely, joyfully, happily, with no begrudging attitude.

I want to encourage you, and assure you, that as you pursue these things, you'll create the  power in your "palace of power." You will build a glorious life, and you will be living day after day, Your Ultimate Life.
