Dave Gilbertson was born and raised in Wisconsin. Gilbertson was driven to the large city life and moved to California in 2005. Gilbertson having been in the fitness industry since 1998, immediately began pursuing his passion of fitness in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Gilbertson transitioned from a career in sales for Krav Maga, the official self defense and fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces, became a certified Krav Maga instructor. Gilbertson became dedicated to Krav Maga and has owned fitness clubs since 2007 while teaching all over the world. Gilbertson has even trained celebrities. He has owned multiple fitness clubs throughout the U.S. and is on the Board of Health and Wellness for Southern California Universities. While maintaining such a vast variety of career achievements Gilbertson created and founded 3 Elements Lifestyle.
