In this episode of the Sober Friends podcast, Matt and Steve chat with Courtney Anderson, an author, a podcaster, and a mom who has been sober for almost 11 years.  Courtney is the host of the Sober Vibes podcast.  Her book, Sober Vibes is out August 15th.

Courtney talks about her experience with 12-step groups and how she found her comfort zone in women’s meetings. She explains how she overcame her anxiety and her resistance to the word God, and how she learned to live one day at a time, one moment at a time.

She also shares how she encourages her clients to try different avenues of recovery and find what works for them. She gives some examples of online zoom meetings, podcasts, books, and other resources that can help people stay sober and connected.

Courtney also discusses how technology has opened up new possibilities for connecting with other sober people online, and how she uses social media to spread her sober vibes.

Listen to this episode to hear more about Courtney’s perspective, her book, and her advice on how to be open-minded and curious about different levels of recovery. This is a valuable episode for anyone who wants to find their sober vibe and live a more authentic and joyful life!
