27: My limiting beliefs

Welcome to Woman Leadership show. I'm Janet and in this episode, I will be sharing with you on my limiting beliefs and how I breakthrough them. 

Grandmother favour women and mum even want to adopt a son. Men is favoured and I cannot be as good as man. I am a woman and cannot earn as much as man as I see most senior positions are men. I am not for doing business as it takes a lot of money and effort to do business, what is fail and could not find a job back at corporate. Met some who went back to corporate after doing business and freelance tried to look for jobs.

Others failures does not mean I will fail just as my mum marriage failure does not determine my marriage will fail. If one don’t try one will never know. What is the worst thing that can happen if one fail? When we learn to walk, we were not afraid to fall down but as an adult, we are very cautious of every step we take and cripple our mind to move forward in your lives. Everyone is unique and has opportunity to shine. I have won few awards and recognized and respected in my field by senior leaders and colleagues who have worked with me. I have managed 3 kids, a sick mum and work with travelling commitments and received many positive feedbacks and compliments around the world. I need to stop thinking I am not good enough and can fail should I do something differently. I hope that through my sharing, it draws inspiration and personal reflection for you. 

I believe every woman can be a leader in your own way.
