Shangrila Rendon of Fesity Fox Coaching and the Feisty Fox Fire podcast.

Shangrila has an interesting story of adversity and self discovery, which includes, a Guinness world record, for the fastest female time, to complete the IUTA world cup quintuple ultra-triathlon.

What makes this achievement even more incredible, is knowing what Shangrila has gone through, to get there. She has experienced ongoing sexual assault from the age of 5 until 19. She lived in an environment, which was lacking in compassion for her personal journey, and led to suicidal ideations throughout her formative years.

At 24 years of age, Shangrila was again, sexually assaulted, and subsequently diagnosed, with PTSD, and severe depression.

In her words, “I hated everyone, including my family. I didn’t care about myself. I was living dead”. Her identity had become wrapped up in the adversities, and yet one day, she dared to ask herself a question – “Who am I really?” We will hear her talk about these “WhyMe” moments and how she has learned, to embrace her journey, and harness the power, of daring to dream big, stepping into the living proof documentary, of declaring to the world, “This is me”.

You can contact Shangrila on her website and Feisty Fox Coaching and check out her Guinness world record here.
