Today’s guest is one of Australia’s most revered music photographers and a true creative soul, Michelle Grace Hunder. For over 10 years, she has immersed herself in the hip hop culture of the music scene with dynamic and naturally shot portraiture. Her personal project with Claudia Dalimorae over a four-year span created the industry acclaimed documentary “Her sound, Her story” and celebrated the women in front of and behind the scenes of many genres of Australian music. This film was shining a light on the unique difficulties women face in getting their voice heard amidst the boys club mentality of the music scene.

Michelle runs a weekly photography challenge on her twitch channel for her community and there is so much to love about Michelle operating out of her true calling and life passion – yet it wasn’t always this way... As she says herself, she had to go through a catastrophic failure of epic proportions before she was able to find her own niche. I am so excited to have Michelle here today to tell us about her WhyMe moment and how she used her adversity to grow within herself and why she now brings such a big following of fans and industry leaders to the table, embracing all that she has become through her journey.

You can contact Michelle on Instagram, Twitch and on her website.
