Episode #104

In this episode of What The Fat, I talk about a frustrating conversation I overheard at the gym. The guy was complaining about how miserable he was at his high paying job  and how he couldn’t wait to go to Cancun for a weekend trip with his wife.  This really struck a cord with me and got me thinking about choosing a career based off of fulfillment and passion vs one of monetary significance. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people can relate to wishing away their week waiting for the weekend or some future event to be “happy”. In this episode I hope to shift your perspective on work and life and help you realize that at the end of the day you’re ultimately the one who makes the choice.

Takeaways

Do you wish away the week dreaming about the weekend? If so this episode is for you. At the end of the day, we have to realize that we are in control of our own lives and happiness. When you stop saying “I have to” and start saying “I choose to” you start to see that you hold the power and not someone else.
