Born in Basra but being brought up in Wales has given Thaer Al-Shayei lots of experiences to call upon in his acting career. In many ways being able to speak Arabic and own a British passport has been a big plus for him being able to work all over the world in these difficult times.
Although many of his pictures depict him as a villain and a bad guy he is a gentle giant to interview and I hope you enjoy hearing about his journey from St Mellons in Wales to Hollywood and winning the Rising Star award in 2019.
It was great to hear about his work as an Ambassador with a local charity as a trained boxer and most importantly.....
