“Kids are like little sponges; they soak up all the information they might need. But our kids don’t always get as much out of those learning opportunities. So we give them the extra help they need.”

Wedgwood’s Autism Center for Child Development (ACCD) provides and fun, engaging environment for kids with autism spectrum disorder to receive therapy and learn crucial skills. Jennifer Ruffin, the Clinical Supervisor of Training and Transitions Programs, makes sure staff members at Wedgwood’s ACCD have all the skills and support they need to make a life-changing impact on the lives of the kids.

In this Coffee Break Conversation, Jennifer shares why she loves what she does, why Wedgwood and the ACCD are special, and the importance of a supportive team.
