Reefs are the lifeblood of the ocean. Thousands of marine species around the globe depend on healthy reefs to thrive, but our reefs are disappearing. It is believed that we have already lost over half of our reefs globally, and that number continues to climb, but we can put a stop to that. By becoming more aware of how our actions impact the complex and breathtaking system of life in the oceans, we can make new choices in how we eat, how we buy, and how we behave every day to protect our reefs, and give them the chance to recover. Join us for our conversation with Jan Freiwald, Executive Director, and Matt Bullock, board member of Reef Check, a non-profit in California that has been sounding the alarm about the health of our reefs from the beginning, and become part of the solution for healthier reefs and a healthier world.
