Grit Girl Story in Brief
Sunday’s life changed forever the day she heard the words, “We have your test results and we’re sorry to tell you that you have invasive ductal carcinoma.” At the young age of 40 with four children, she made the decision she would fight the cancer with every ounce of strength she could muster. After enduring multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and even a bout with depression, she earned the title breast cancer survivor. Through the process, Sunday discovered she was much stronger than she’d imagined and was braver than she ever thought possible, she found grit.

Just two years later she also survived 35 grueling days on the Emmy award-winning reality TV series Survivor Millennials vs Gen-x. Sunday’s story didn’t start there though, like most women she’s survived much more, from heartache and depression to loss and confusion, she’s experienced it all. Relatable and authentic, Sunday believes every woman possess grit and she is passionate about leading her audience on a journey to discover that grit for themselves.

Sunday delivers a powerful message of hope and transformation with her unique style of speaking. Audience members trapped by their setbacks are empowered with the tools to shift to a positive mindset and their newfound confidence will position them for success, both personally and professionally. Sunday's quirky personality and authenticity never fails to connect to audiences having them both laughing and crying but most importantly knowing they possess the inner strength to overcome anything!

Sunday is a wife and mother of four with over 25 years of full-time ministry experience. She is also the author of, “Grit Girl Power to Survive, Inspired by Grace”, walking the reader through her journey to finding grit while providing a path for them to do the same.
