Set up a shop to build web pages; had to teach people what the internet was and why they needed to be on it
Got a job offer to work at the U.N. to build web pages; one web page is still there...kinda
Worked in a funded start-up doing document conversions; the big $ IPO was planned; and then 9/11 happened
Ended up getting several months of severance after leaving his last job before starting his first business
