As a teenager and young adult, Author and podcast host Victorea searched outward for happiness through relationships and external circumstances. She gives a background on her experience with toxic relationships, and how trauma affected her perception of relationships, self worth, and self love. She reflects on some of the realizations she has had over the years, and how she has learned to find contentment within herself and in the simple things. This series is based off of Victorea's first poetry book Until I Met Myself, as she dives deeper into the meaning and experiences behind each of her poems. In this episode, she explains the meaning behind the second poem in the book titled "Empty". This poem eludes to the meaning behind the title of the book.
