As a teenager and young adult, Author and podcast host Victorea struggled with identity. In this episode, she dives into her perspective on expectations, beauty standards, other peoples' opinions, material items, money and career paths and explains why it is important to look past these concepts. This series is based off of Victorea's first poetry book Until I Met Myself, as she dives deeper into the meaning and experiences behind each of her poems. This episode references the fourth poem in the book titled "Who Are You". "The concept of who we are is much deeper than just the words we use to describe ourselves. Underneath it all, who are you? Who do you want to be right now? You are capable of that. What is your truth? Be that person now."
