This morning I was doing my normal routine- reading, gratitude, and journaling.

I've been journaling for about 12 years now (give or take). They (my journals) are one of my most valuable possessions. They literally have documented my LIFE up to this point. Memories you would have forgotten about otherwise.

Memories that I did not appreciate or took for granted in the moment, I now feel like I have a "second chance" to reread through them and give them the attention they deserved.

Anyway…

This morning I was reading a journal from about a year ago (to the week to be exact). I made a comment in my journal that I wanted to put more "heart" into my podcast.

I feel like I do that a lot with creating content in general. I skip the "heart" in my work and putting intention in production and creating because I feel pressured to "pump more out". Like if you are not delivering "x amount" of times a day you are slacking.

I don't know. It could possibly the opposite. When you aren't putting your heart INTO your work and you just produce, produce, produce, that's truly when you are "slacking".

No big point to this other than I want to "show up" more.

Show up in my work.

Show up in the podcast.

Be more intentional with what I "put out".

That's the work that really matters- right?

I don't believe people are truly impacted by blanket statements and general content- they are impacted when there is intention behind the message.

I don't want to skip intention.
