Today I spoke with a friend that I met on Instagram, Asher Packman. We discuss everything from men’s work to mental health, illness, mediation and the human experience. Asher and I chat about how he ended up doing this type of work, the losses he went through and how that grief took a toll on him. We discuss turning inward and how to overcome loss. He shares why you should listen to the messages from the universe and how to use meditation as a tool for your daily life.

About Asher Packman:
After nearly 20 years working with the world’s leading brands as a communications senior executive — both in-house and via his own agency, The Sauce — a series of significant life events led Asher to shift gears. Now a qualified mindset and leadership coach (Diploma of Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring), he is a certified HeartMath and Wim Hof Method instructor, as well as a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. He has further qualifications in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), geobiology, epigenetics and the social psychology of sport. The founder of men’s circle, Warrior Within, he is a regular speaker and facilitator at conferences and retreats and contributes to numerous sports/lifestyle/health/wellbeing websites and publications. Asher is also the current president of Meditation Australia, the national peak body representing meditation and meditation teachers, and an ambassador for various charities including Love Me Love You, MPNAA and The Resilient Leaders Foundation. A hot air balloon pilot in his younger days, Asher still enjoys watching their colorful display over Melbourne, the birthplace he returned to several years ago after stints in Hong Kong, London and Byron Bay.
