Phil Wang is an award winning comedian, including Chortle Student Comedian of the Year 2010 and Comedy Central Live Funniest Student Award 2011 as well as previously being President of the Cambridge Footlights.

Phil is rapidly making a name for himself as one of Britain’s funniest Engineering graduates, having appeared as a stand-up guest on The Rob Brydon Show (BBC1), been featured on Three at the Fringe (BBC3) and was part of the Festival's longest-running stand-up showcase, The Comedy Zone, which has previously launched the careers of Dave Gorman, Harry Hill, Stewart Lee, Al Murray and Chris Ramsey.

In 2012, Phil embarked on the Footlights International Tour, performing the Cambridge Footlights show, ‘Perfect Strangers’, around the UK and America with a sell-out month at the Edinburgh Festival.

Phil will be performing his Edinburgh debut show ‘Anti-Hero’ at Pleasance Courtyard during the Edinburgh Festival. The show is a collection of sharp observations and curious opinions, told with undue confidence. Prepare to meet the biggest Wang in comedy.
