18 million women worldwide have a caesarean section delivery every year. Professor Peter Brocklehurst has lead the Coronis trial, the first study of its kind to examine the differences in c-section methods outside of Europe and America. Here Professor Brocklehurst explains the methods they compared in the trial of 16,000 c-section deliveries.
