About Lourdes:
Lourdes Cross received her PharmD degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and completed two years of post-graduate training at the University of Louisville (UofL) Hospital, specializing in Ambulatory Care. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a practice site at the UofL Adult Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Clinics. One of her greatest passions is educating patients, community members, and health care providers on health, wellness, and evidence-based medicine. She has delivered presentations at multiple conferences, including the Tri-State Association of Diabetes Educators Conference and Kentucky Diabetes Symposium, and published in Pharmacy Times and Journal of the American Pharmacists Association. In addition, she currently serves as the 2019 Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) Pharmacy Community of Interest Leader-Elect and Blog Coordinator.
