039: Networking with Derek Coburn

We are so excited this week as we sat down with another nominee for The John Maxwell Leadership Award 2019, Derek Coburn. He began his journey as a financial advisor where he built a successful wealth management practice that he still currently runs today – mainly through cold-calling and networking. He was always looking for ways to grow and increase his contacts, so he focused on joining high-level networking groups and professional organizations which led to a lot of connections that helped grow his business. In 2011, Derek and his wife Melanie built CADRE – a business for elite professionals where they can connect and develop relationships with like-minded peers.
