From helping people nourish their bodies and souls, to working with children and caregivers affected by the opioid crisis and through raising her own grandchildren, Laureen gives tips that you can add to your own ‘parenting first aid kit.’ These tips are relevant for both you and your kids!

“You're just letting the body, smell, and letting the senses, see the food in front of us, because that's when the digestive juices start happening.” 

“There are no races at the dinner table; no one's gonna be a winner in this race cause we are all gonna end up with a tummy ache.”

“Usually when fat has been taken out of a product of a food, they've added some sort of sugar”

“If you have a really hard time with your kids and vegetables. I'm not opposed to doing something like a green powder”

“Every once in a while, you know my kids will get a lemonade, but I always ask whatever restaurant we're at: ‘can you please dilute that with half water.’ ”

22:25: Routines and sleep time
“But we really want to make sure they're getting their sleep because that's when our body heals, and that's when it grows; antibodies are boosted”
