고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 5:18 

이 모든 것은 하나님에게서 났습니다. 하나님께서는 그리스도를 내세우셔서, 우리를 자기와 화해하게 하시고, 또 우리에게 화해의 직분을 맡겨 주셨습니다. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:  

1. 내가 그리스도안에서 누구인가를 명확하게 알아야 합니다.  (You got to know who you are in Christ).  

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6:4

우리는 무슨 일에서나 하나님의 일꾼답게 처신합니다. 우리는 많이 참으면서, 환난과 궁핍과 곤경과 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6:4b-5 

… 우리는 많이 참으면서, 환난과 궁핍과 곤경과 매 맞음과 옥에 갇힘과 난동과 수고와 잠을 자지 못함과 굶주림을 겪습니다. …in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6:3

아무도 우리가 섬기는 이 일에 흠을 잡지 못하게 하려고, 우리는 무슨 일에서나 아무에게도 거리낌거리를 주지 않습니다. We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.  

로마서 (Romans) 15:1-2 

믿음이 강한 우리는 믿음이 약한 사람들의 약점을 돌보아 주어야 합니다. 우리는 자기에게 좋을 대로만 해서는 안 됩니다. 우리는 저마다 자기 이웃의 마음에 들게 행동하면서, 유익을 주고 덕을 세워야 합니다. We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. 

2. 내면의 강건함이 있어야 합니다. (You got to have strong inner self).   

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6:6-7

또 우리는 순결과 지식과 인내와 친절과 성령의 감화와 거짓 없는 사랑과 진리의 말씀과 하나님의 능력으로 이 일을 합니다. 우리는 오른손과 왼손에 의의 무기를 들고, in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 

에베소서 (Ephesians) 3:16

아버지께서 그분의 영광의 풍성하심을 따라 그분의 성령을 통하여 여러분의 속 사람을 능력으로 강건하게 하여 주시고, I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  

데살로니가전서 (I Thessalonians) 3:13 

그래서 주님께서 여러분의 마음을 굳세게 하셔서, 우리 주 예수께서 자기의 모든 성도들과 함께 오실 때에, 하나님 우리 아버지 앞에서 거룩함에 흠 잡힐 데가 없게 해 주시기를 빕니다. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.  

 고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6:7

진리의 말씀과 하나님의 능력으로 이 일을 합니다. 우리는 오른손과 왼손에 의의 무기를 들고, in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;  

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 4:7  

우리는 이 보물을 질그릇에 간직하고 있습니다. 이 엄청난 능력은 하나님에게서 나는 것이지, 우리에게서 나는 것이 아닙니다. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.  

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 12:9-10  

그러나 주님께서는 내게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "내 은혜가 네게 족하다. 내 능력은 약한 데서 완전하게 된다." 그러므로 그리스도의 능력이 내게 머무르게 하기 위하여 나는 더욱더 기쁜 마음으로 내 약점들을 자랑하려고 합니다. 그러므로 나는 그리스도를 위하여 병약함과 모욕과 궁핍과 박해와 곤란을 겪는 것을 기뻐합니다. 내가 약할 그 때에, 오히려 내가 강하기 때문입니다. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 

3. 세상의 판단보다 하나님의 판단을 소중히 여겨야 합니다.  (You got to put God’s value on top priority). 

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 6::8-10

영광을 받거나, 수치를 당하거나, 비난을 받거나, 칭찬을 받거나, 그렇게 합니다. 우리는 속이는 사람 같으나 진실하고, 이름 없는 사람 같으나 유명하고, 죽는 사람 같으나, 보십시오, 살아 있습니다. 징벌을 받는 사람 같으나 죽임을 당하는 데까지는 이르지 않고, 근심하는 사람 같으나 항상 기뻐하고, 가난한 사람 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고, 아무것도 가지지 않은 사람 같으나 모든 것을 가진 사람입니다. through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. 

베드로전서 (I Peter) 1:17

그리고 사람을 겉모양으로 판단하지 않으시고 각 사람의 행위대로 심판하시는 분을 여러분이 아버지라고 부르고 있으니, 여러분은 나그네 삶을 사는 동안 두려운 마음으로 살아가십시오. Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.
