This Girl Daisy has always admired and loved photography, so she was fascinated when she heard about a family photographer, Audrey Blake, pivot her business to get some “quarantine” captures!  In fact, her passion project #allstoopedup went viral when she photographed over 100 families in Essex County, NJ highlighting their family quarantine experience from their front stoop in her #6ftshoot to memorialize this once-in-a-lifetime event.  Her photos received national attention and were showcased on Good Morning America and The Today show.

In this episode, Daisy and Audrey have a fun, loving conversation how when faced with adversity creativity can open doors and opportunities not foreseen when comfortable. In March, when the entire world was asked to stay home due to global pandemic; Audrey came up with the idea to capture this moment, in particular in her neighborhood.  She visited her neighbors and offered her professional photography services to capture them on their front door #allstoopedup while shooting the photos 6 feet apart.  What sparked this passion project for Audrey was when she heard in the news that school children where going hungry across the USA since the schools were closed and parents were losing their jobs. So, in lieu of payment Audrey requested donations to the Community Food Bank of NJ, raising thousands of dollars to help those in need.

For more than 15 years, Audrey has used her gift to capture real life moments with her camera and charisma to tell family stories.  She is a storyteller with pictures.  Her infectious personality, grace and professionalism while shooting sets her apart from the crowd. If you want to freeze time and capture your children at a certain stage in their life, she's your girl!

Audrey explained to Daisy that she noticed that so many families were stuck at home experiencing beautiful moments and she wanted to help them capture them since they would someday treasure these family memories.  As a photography iphone teacher, she realized that she had the skill set and creative calling to help families around the world to catch these moments on their smart phones or cameras; so she shifted her business once again and offered a new service, Virtual Session Shoots.    Daisy was awe struck to see the quality of the photos created virtually.  You must visit her website and see the blog,  You will want to book a virtual, asap!

Daisy truly admires Audrey’s work since it is all about storytelling.  She has created a very distinct portfolio of themes that she specializes in such as Bedtime stories, Legacy sessions dedicated to grandparents interacting with their grandkids and honoring the traditions of the old with the new generation. One of Daisy’s favorite is Fresh 48 which captures the first 48 hours of a newborn.   Audrey announced that she will be moving to Florida and is available for family shoots, although she travels throughout the US.
