A three-person panel discusses how 9/11 sparked a greater movement of volunteerism across the United States and led to President Obama’s declaration of Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service. The esteemed panelists include Jay Winuk of MyGoodDeed, Bill Keegan of H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 and Jeff Parness, Chairman of the New York Says Thank You Foundation. These nonprofit groups are committed to providing volunteer services across New York City, the country, and abroad.
