On today’s episode, I speak to Ian Burrage, a radio presenter since 1999 who has found another way of using his voice to earn himself a living.
He went to school with Aled Jones, thought his future lay in the theatre and has a very similar story to myself, which I only discovered as I was talking to him.
Ian has hosted all sorts of radio shows, including the breakfast show and even plays us some of the audio which involved his very cute son calling random people and asking them some awkward questions.
He explains his route in to radio and the other roles this has allowed him to do; including talking to people in large stadiums and getting the nick-name, The Idiot with the Mic.
More recently, Ian’s mouth has lead him to find something he truly loves to do and… he actually does save lives; how many of us can say that when we go to work in the morning?
