JB2: 2022 Tour de France Stage 2

July 02, 2022 20:51 - 32 minutes - 44.7 MB

The wind and the crashes came as predicted, but didn’t manage to split any GC contenders. Incredible spring performance today by Fabio Jakobson, especially after the physical pushing between him and Peter Sagan. With Jumbo-Visma having green jersey goals, co-leaders, and now Wout Van Alert in Green and yellow, might they be too ambitious and putting too many demands on their team, meanwhile, UAE seems to be conserving energy that will be much needed in week 3.

THEMOVE: 2022 Tour de France Stage 2

July 02, 2022 17:55 - 37 minutes - 86.4 MB

Today's stage was the 2nd stage of 3 in Denmark with us not knowing if the crosswinds would break up the peloton. The mostly headwind kept a downsized but decent bunch for the sprint finish. Fabio Jakobsen was as fast as the hype and able to hold his position with aggressive bumping from Peter Sagan. We discuss the 3k rule which is still a relatively recent change and some unwritten rules among teams when a rider is well respected. VENTUM: Get 10% off when you use code WEDU at checkout at ...

May 29, 2022 22:56 - 46 minutes - 63.6 MB

Lance, Johan, George, and JB reflect on this year's Giro D’Italia and the win by Jai Hindley, who was not on most people's radar for a Giro Win. With more teams getting into the grand tour mix now including Bora Hansgrohe, and younger riders succeeding early success, sets the stage for a Tour de France showdown. Of course, there are a few great stories from back in the day that we think you will enjoy.

May 26, 2022 20:29 - 38 minutes - 52.7 MB

JB and Johan take a look at stages 16-18 of the 2022 Giro D’Italia. Have we found our top 3 mid-way through the last week? It’s still uncertain what order they may finish which could come down to the final TT. Also, Johan explains why a breakaway putting in more time is not necessarily a good thing, and might a couple of teams be in trouble of losing their world tour status before the season wraps?

The sprinter conversation is equally as interesting as the General Classification. La Movida: Lieja-Bastogna-Lieja 2022

April 24, 2022 19:40 - 1 hour - 121 MB

The Move: 2022 Liège–Bastogne–Liège

April 24, 2022 17:31 - 48 minutes - 66.2 MB

Since the severe crash of Remco Evenepoel back in 2020, everyone has been wondering when he would be back on form. Today was that day. He even described it post-race as his best ever.  There was a big crash at 59k out forcing favorite, Julian Alaphilippe to abandon. It will take some time to find out what riders sustained injuries that might affect participation in the Giro D’ Italia.

The Move: 2022 La Flèche Wallonne

April 20, 2022 22:37 - 39 minutes - 54.1 MB

Julian Alaphilippe and Tadej Pogacar were the early favorites and it even looked that way until the final climb. Dylan Teuns was on peak form for the day but it was the amazing performance of 41-year-old Alejandro Valverde in his final season that had us talking.

La Movida: Paris-Roubaix 2022

April 17, 2022 20:20 - 1 hour - 122 MB

THEMOVE: 2022 Paris-Roubaix

April 17, 2022 18:52 - 51 minutes - 70.7 MB

Dry conditions did not make for an easier Paris-Roubaix with the fastest finishing time in history and seemingly, historic punctures as well. We may have well-seen spectator interference affect the podium outcome and it also seems that this year's spring classics have been amazing for Team Ineos where we typically see Quick-Step domination. The women’s race received full tv coverage and Ali Tetrick joins the show to help break down the race.

La Movida: Vuelta al País Vasco + Amstel Gold Race

April 10, 2022 18:55 - 1 hour - 114 MB

THEMOVE: 2022 Amstel Gold

April 10, 2022 17:13 - 43 minutes - 59.7 MB

Another photo finish thriller for the Amstel Gold Race. The Ineos team tactics worked to perfection and Michał Kwiatkowski uses his 6th sense to know when to go, something Lance and Johan said was a special skill he has always had, dating back to being a young pro on Team Radio Shack. Would Benoît Cosnefroy have won had he started sprinting a little later or if he had done a proper bike throw like Kwiatkoski?

The Move: 2022 Amstel Gold

April 10, 2022 17:13 - 43 minutes - 59.7 MB

La Movida: Tour de Flanders

April 03, 2022 19:19 - 55 minutes - 102 MB

2022 Milan San Remo

March 19, 2022 19:27 - 32 minutes - 45.2 MB

THEMOVE: 2021 Giro di Lombardía

October 10, 2021 23:07 - 36 minutes - 50.1 MB

Today the monument classics end with the “race of the falling leaves”, the Giro di Lombardia. We were privileged to watch a real cycling spectacle with a battle amongst almost all the big names in the international peloton. With 35kms to go, double Tour de France winner Tadej Pogaçar attacked, and none of the other strongmen had a response to this attack. Only the Italian Fausto Masnada was able to return to the wheel of the Slovenian rider on the descent of the last climb, but he was n...

We w...
