At the age of 38 Lisa suffered two heart attacks. Her life was now on a very different trajectory to the one she had in mind. Two years after her heart attacks, now living with heart failure, Lisa would need a major operation to repair a leaky valve. On this episode, Bill Snaddon from the BHF talks with Lisa, who offers a raw and honest account of her recovery – and how she’s crafted a new life for herself, making sure she manages her condition and not the other way round.
