Josh recounts a particularly harrowing day of deep depression, insecurity, panic, temporary loss of all desire for good things and a fear that personal growth and maturity had been forfeited. He also describes the steps taken to move forward from moments like this. In the second half of the episode, Josh discusses the problem in comparing ourselves to others who are more "successful" than us and making assumptions that we are somehow less or more than another person, based only on accomplishments.

[Edit 10/13/2020: Josh's views and beliefs--like those of any person undergoing constant growth, maturity and change throughout life--are in a continual state of flux. He may or may not still hold to statements, beliefs or ways of phrasing things that he did on these past episodes, even if he's delivering them with utter conviction. That's because, at that moment in time, based upon the circumstances and the information he had available to him, he did sincerely believe, with a pure heart, that those things were true or correct. But people change, their ideas and views expand and take on new form, and that's good, so take everything said with a grain of salt and a lot of compassion.]
