This week, Kitty talks about the level of stress so many people feel in the world of COVID and all that goes with it. She suggests that you can imagine a continuum of 1 to 10 to gauge your own stress level if you are on the lower end of the spectrum, somewhere between 2-4, congratulations! You are doing great! If you are around 5 to 7, you need to do some extra things to tend to yourself and take steps to get your stress under control. If you feel that you are at the upper end of the scale, hovering between 7 to 9, you need to ask for help. You can start by asking your spouse and older kids for use around the house. You don't have to try to do it all! But if you don't have anyone to ask or you feel like you are at a full-blown 10, you may need to consider seeking some professional help.

Listen for more of what Kitty says about stress and how sometimes we just have to recognize we need help dealing with what life is throwing at us.

She also mentions her ebook, Stressed, Stretched, and Just Plain Overwhelmed, because there, she shares some of her own experiences with stress, including living with a spouse who had a bipolar disorder.
