It may sound counter-intuitive, but if you are job hunting, you should keep it up during the holidays rather than taking a break during these weeks leading up to Christmas and the New Year. I offered advice about that in Episode 39 of "Teacher in Transition" and I have written about it including an article in Forbes entitled "Job Hunting During The Holidays: Should You Wait Until The New Year?"
