Alberto Villoldo, PhD, is a "medical anthropologist and best-selling author who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for over 30 years."

He teaches us that we evolved to deal with only one lion roaring at us at a time. When we have a ‘lion-like’ event, it’s short lived. Our nervous system resets itself quickly.

With the world that we live in today, we have 24/7 media exposure…we also have access to shows and movies that provide us endless assaulting content.

It might not sound like it’s a big deal but our limbic system (the nervous system in our brain that dictates our mood) cannot tell the difference between what you’re seeing on a screen and it happening in real life.

Our limbic system does not understand that the thing that you’re seeing is ‘over there’ and is not a direct threat.

Tune in as Coach Ashlie Walton and Detective Walton break this down even further so that you can learn how to use technology wisely.
