A short film produced in the mid to late 1970s by Swinburne Audio-Visual Services most probably for Swinburne's Department of Mathematics. The purpose of the film is to demonstrate various types of queues in the operations research area of mathematics. The film opens with a queue of people waiting outside the National Gallery of Victoria on St. Kilda Road, Melbourne; a group of taxis queued in a taxi rank outside Flinders Street Station; cars queued at traffic lights on the corner of Flinders Street; milk bottles queued along a production line; and lastly a queue of men waiting to use an outdoor toilet.
