The Applied Science Block provided classrooms and laboratories for Applied Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Glassworking, Road Materials Testing, Soils Mechanics, Metallurgy, Physics and Structural Engineering. The building faced Burwood Rood between the Ethel Swinburne Centre and the Chemistry School.
