Tonight's special guest is Kalli Tedder from Montana, a child abuse survivor who says, "I was 14 when my neighbor (a husband and father of three) started using me for his pleasure. I had been groomed for quite a while before this. It started with me babysitting his kids", she explains. "The grooming and abuse didn't end until I was nearly done with high school, and contact continued for several years after." But she started to heal. "Thirteen years later, I spoke out and told my story, starting with informing my dad. After 5 years I finally got a conviction." Kalli is committed to helping others. She's launched 'Wildflower', a Sexual Trauma Support Group for Women. Created in mid 2023, she welcomes others to this safe place, where "the goal is to provide support and comfort through shared experiences." Anyone can find the group on Facebook, but only members can see who's in the group and what they post. As Kalli says, "I will never stop trying to support other women in this situation."
