Christmas show with special guest Pamela Lockridge. ~~ The all-volunteer National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (NAASCA) has a single purpose, to address issues of child abuse and trauma including sexual assault, violent or physical abuse, emotional traumas and neglect; and this is done from two specific perspectives: (1) educating the public, and (2) offering hope and healing. We seek to build a survivor / activist community, all of which from the president on down are volunteers, believing that together we can do what we cannot do alone. ~~ Our special guest tonight is Pamela Elaine Lockridge. She was pimped by her mother to her second husband; as a child sex slave from the age of 4-18. She understands the depths of terror and long-lasting mental anguish that comes along with this type of trauma. She will share her story of finding complete closure and mental healing. ~~ There may be many hurting individuals listening and wanting to be heard on the show who are at different places in life on their healing journey of survival and / or healing from trauma such as child sex abuse, rape, domestic violence and other trauma. All who call into the show will receive tremendous support, love, and acceptance by the NAASCA family. ~~ Finally, because the show happens to fall on Christmas night, at some point in the show Pamela will take some time to share with the audience some historically significant information for all to discuss and bring their knowledge to the table; in order to end the show on a more positive note.
